Meetings are held in the presence of one or two therapists. Some groups are chosen thematically, for example: a group for women, a group for men, a group for adolescents, a group for co-addicts, for people with anxiety or depression. The therapy is based on cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, schema therapy and systemic therapy. The effectiveness of group therapy is confirmed by research.
Why in a group?
Group therapy is a regular meeting in a specific group of people once a week that lasts 90-120 minutes. In closed groups, participants begin and end therapy at the same time.
